Alexander in India

The conquests of Alexander, the valiant warrior in India, did not entail catastrophes. His armies did not leave burned ground in their passage, but instead, a trove of civilisation.

Pictured here, the valiant warrior is greeted in India by the local population in their traditional clothing in honour of that great country.

Alexander, son of the King Philippe II of Macedonia and Princess Olympias of Epirus was crowned king after the murder of his father in 335 BC.

I will present this card, embroidered by hand, to the government of India after the exhibition of my works in Beijing.

I will also present to H.M. Queen Elizabeth II of Great Britain an embroidered card of the Parthenon.
