Nike: Statue of Victory

The statue of the Victory of Samothrace was made by students of the great Greek sculptor of the 4th century BC, Aeon Lyssipos, and it is presently located in the Louvre Museum of Paris.

The goddess of victory, 'Nike', is presented as a winged girl, flying fast and bringing the victory to those that invoke the assistance of the immortal Olympian gods.

Out of my love for Greece I have continued to display my artwork through the media and elsewhere featuring the ancient Greek glory and ideals.

Furthermore, I am promoting my works from my own funds and without outside sponsorship to awaken the international Greek community and to promote the values of my country around the world.
